User :   hi am 25 years old female, i have been diagnosed with PCOS and have been on krimson 35 for two months. i started my 3rd pill card and stopped it after taking 7 pills. its my 4th day since i stopped it and today i started bleeding again. is this a normal period i am having? or should i be worried and show to a doctor asap? and since i want to conceive asap doctor gave me clomid as well. if this is a normal period should i start clomid this time? plz help me
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   let me read ur query
Doctor :   are u having your periods regularly ?
User :   while i was taking the pills yes
User :   not before that
User :   for 3 months i didnt get my period
User :   and then it started on the 4th month
User :   n i started my pills then
Doctor :   When was ur period due, according to ur cycle ?
User :   after 14 days
User :   as i said before i started the 3rd pill card
User :   n stopped it after taking 7 pills
Doctor :   right now, do u see any clots in the menstrual blood ?
Doctor :   Do u find it same as the menstual blood or something different than before ?
User :   its not bleeding out heavily yet
User :   so no i cant see any clots or anythg yet
User :   i honestly dont no if there is any difference
Doctor :   In that case, this could be your normal period
User :   but according to the card theres still 14 days for the period
Doctor :   may i know any other medicines that u take ?
User :   so if this is the normal period should i start the fertilizing med
User :   am not taking any other medicines now
User :   but the doctor as given me clomid
Doctor :   you can definitely go on the fertility pills
Doctor :   how many days have u had ur bleeding ?
User :   it started just now
Doctor :   In that case, this seems to be your period
Doctor :   You can follow your treating doctors advice and take clomid as adviced by him
User :   but i just finished my periods 2 weeks ago
User :   ok so this is nothing to be worried about rite?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   no need to worry
User :   i can go ahead with clomid
Doctor :   yes
User :   on the 3rd day of my periods rite?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   when u had ur periods, last time , how many days did u have it for ?
Doctor :   was the bleeding regular ?
User :   nope the bleeding wasnt regular
User :   it didnt even bleed much
User :   i didnt even have to use a pad
User :   it lasted only for 2 days
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Now what u need to do, is watch if u are getting regular bleeding
Doctor :   In case the bleeding is normal and lasts for more than 2-3 days, then this is ur regular period
User :   if not i need to see a doctor is it? something is wrong rite?
Doctor :   No there is nothing to be worried
Doctor :   as in PCOS, the periods can be irregular due to the hormonal imbalances
User :   even with the pills
User :   krimson 35
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   it takes some time before the periods can become regular
User :   i guess thats it then, thank u v much, r u a gyne?
Doctor :   Yes, I have experience in OBG
User :   or btw
User :   how often should i do the follicular scan?
User :   is that what it is called?
Doctor :   ultrasound , u mean ?
User :   yea
User :   its says follicular scan
Doctor :   yes, the uSG is used to scan for the follicles in the ovary
User :   also since i have only one fallopian tube, what do u think is the chance of me getting pregnant normally
Doctor :   the chances of having a normal pregnancy will be reduced by 50 %, in case of a single fallopian tube
Doctor :   but use of clomid, will increase the chances of ovulation and achieve pregnancy
Doctor :   May i know , y u have a single fallopian tube ? did u have any surgery ?
User :   yes
User :   i had a ectopic pregnancy
User :   only during the surgery they found out that it wasnt ectopic
User :   its was sumthg else
User :   but then i had a miscarriage anyway that time
User :   so they cut the tube open
Doctor :   ok, Im sorry to know that
User :   n said it wud heal
User :   but it got blocked like a baloon
User :   so now i have only one tube
User :   and ovaries full of cysts
User :   and no babies yet
Doctor :   ok
User :   but now desperately i want one
Doctor :   there is no need to worry as with proper treatment u will be able to concieve shortly
