User :   I am on medication for prostatitis for the last 3 weeks

User :   Antibiotic dosage was reduced to 1 per day from 2 a day after a week
User :   have been taking sitz bath regularly too

User :   things have improved but the symptoms seem to be back
User :   Urinary problem is much improved but back pain and lower abdominal pain returns

User :   urologist whom I consulted during end Feb , concluded after examining me it is case of prostatitis

User :   discharge in the sense, I used to find tiny black dots on my white underwear presumably fm the last drop of urine

User :   back pain and abdomen pain started only recently, tho I had pain while urinating fm mid Jan
User :   Is there is need for cystoscopy if things dont improve in this case
User :   I am on medication i.e, doxt100 mg, urimaxx 0.4 mg, panedoc 40 mg for the last weeks and I am still continuing

Doctor :   as said it takes long time for the chronic prostatitis to respond

Doctor :   Because non bacterial is diagnosed if the pain is for min of 3 months and episodic and keeps recurring

User :   I used to work in the gym for fit but have stopped for the last couple of months bcos back pain increases if I do it

Doctor :   I would also suggest to undergo that if the trial method
Doctor :   Cystoscopy helps in better visualisation of the prostatic urethra
User :   what treatment would be suggested then ?
User :   cant the same treatment be tried without cystoscopy !
User :   just in case !

Doctor :   the cystitis must also be ruled out
Doctor :   the bladder inflammation
Doctor :   Urthral stricture should be ruled out
