May I know your wife's age?
could u please guide me in this situation
birth weight was 3 kg. current weight is 2.840 kg. (in a week after birth due to lack of milk and also due to improper guidance, baby went into dehydration state and was hospitalised for a week. her weight went down to 2.5kg then, now 2.840 kg is the weight after recovery)
Is your daughter active now?
Let me brief you.
First, to answer your question about visiting a doctor.
A pediatrician is more qualified to treat feeding problems. Since feeding issues are related to child's health and nutrition, a pediatrician is the best person to consult and not gynecologist.
Second about her insufficient milk production.
Nature has designed pregnancy and motherhood in such a way that all newborn mothers can secrete breast milk.
However there are few factors that assist/increase it's production.
On these factors, the method of feeding, ability of the child to latch and suckle and the amount of feeds are most crucial.
If your daughter is receiving insufficient feeds, along with medical pills and proper nutrition to the mother
the child's general condition and ability to latch and suckle needs to be assessed.
Since she was hospitalized with a serious illness, it may be prudent that few of the functions were affected. These can be rectified by proper guidance and measures.
This guidance can be received from a qualified pediatrician.
So stop worrying and be possitive.

Do you have any questions?
can I get any references of good pediatrician in bangalore whom I can reach and get he points which you mentioned, rectified?
my wife now staying in a village couldnt get proper experienced guidance till now
You don't need a super specialist to identify and find solution to treat the problem. Therefore any pediatrician nearby with an MD qualification and good experience can be able to assess and treat the problem.
Let me know which part of Bangalore you stay and I shall try finding one such pediatrician and give you the reference.
I remember one Dr. Jayalaksmi who used to practice at ITI general Hospital.
You can contact this hospital and check for yourself.
ok, sure I will check out
I have another doubt. My wife is travelling today, along with the baby (from Guntur to Bangalore). She is travelling by A/c sleeper bus. Should we take any specific precautions (other than keeping her warm )
Let us know if you are not able to contact her, we can guide you further.
If your daughter is hale and healthy, I think she can make this travel. Just make sure you pack all the things including her medication and feeds along.
Seat her in a position where there is no direct exposure to the AC.
Also make sure that her seating is at a comfortable position.
I do not recommend any other specific precautions/recommendations.
Have you followed?
