User :   To put across in simple words, you are probably having an infection of the genital organs, and its probably viral in nature.
User :   and how did i get it?
User :   I did have sex last week with my girlfriend
User :   the common mode of this is through the urinary tract.
User :   ok
User :   Probably the sexual intercourse that you had last week may have triggered this infection.
User :   Since you don't have fever, or discomfort while passing urine, it's more likely to be viral in nature.
User :   its does fell tender in that area
User :   This means, it should be settling down in a few days.
User :   You will however need to follow these measures
User :   ok
User :   1. Drink plenty of water - atleast 2 litres a day is necessary
User :   2. You can use antiinflammatory medication, such as Ibuprofen 200mg twice a day after your food.
User :   3. Watch out for fever, burning sensation while passing urine.
User :   If you develop theses symptoms or if you persist to have the pain even after 3 days, you will need urine tests to look for evidence of bacterial infection
User :   and appropriate antibiotics.
