User :   I cut hardibacker board with circular saw inside without any mask or protection. Hardiboard contains up to 30% silica. It was on two different days that I cut this backer board for tile. I cut it indoors with no mask. Each time was for about two hours. There was a cloud of diust in the room each of these days. I was exposed to the dust for a total of 4 hour (2 hours on one day and 2 hours on another day). I am 48, don't smoke and have good health. It happened two weeks ago. I have no affects: I can take deep breths without issue. I do, however, have a slight cough. Am I a candidate for silicosis now? Please let me know what you think?
