Doctor :   hi
User :   Hello?
Doctor :   how can i help you
User :   how are you ?
User :   I have a strange condition, and I dont know how to treat it
Doctor :   Good thanks
User :   one day, I woke up with a swelling in the inner left of my buttocks
User :   and it was extremely sensitive and painful, I couldnt sit on it
User :   I was told to take antibiotics, and pain killers
Doctor :   Ok
User :   3 days have passed, and I have noticed a decrease in pain/sensitivity (maybe because of pain killer), and the pressure under the skin has reduced
User :   but it is still present
User :   I also have fever on and off.. and i am taking anti fever/anti-inflammatory/anti-pain for that
Doctor :   Ok
User :   I think i have had this before few years ago, but i just had anti-biotics and it went
User :   my uncle suggests its due to poor eating habits, i should also notify you that I have ulcerative cholitis but it usually isnt a problem for me
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   So you say that you have two episodes of swelling in the inner cleft
User :   the other episode was a long time ago
Doctor :   ok
User :   and was gone after few days
Doctor :   Where exactly is it
User :   i havnt had this problem in a long long time
Doctor :   in relation to the anus
User :   ok if u were standing in the mirror, its just to the left of my anus, and is 2cm long, going along the inside
User :   now only the center parts seem to come in close contact with the anus
Doctor :   Do you see the pus
User :   as for the sides, they just run where the skin is , not the rectal skin (different color)
Doctor :   coming out any times
User :   nope
Doctor :   Do you see any discharge or redness over it
User :   and i mean im sitting right now, not considerable pain, ofcourse when i move, or get up, or in the process of sitting down.. it hurts a bit
User :   there is slight redness, hard to tell, as its in the anal region.. but no discharge
Doctor :   Ok was it at the same place where you had last time
User :   yes I suppose somewhat similar
Doctor :   how large is the swelling
User :   One doctor told me to put a inside of a banana peel over it, because he said his daughter had it, I ve tried that for 2 days, condition is better
User :   the swelling is not too bad.. maybe sticks out 3mm
Doctor :   Hmm, have you seen a doctor
User :   it feels like a swollen vein running along side the rectal skin starting from the front of the rectal skin, to about 1/2-3/4 the back
Doctor :   and got physical examination done
User :   no, hes just a family friend doctor, and didnt examine, it when I told him what I had he just said .. "oh my daughter had that, put inside of banana peel over it for 3 days"
Doctor :   THen who prescribed yoiu antibiotics and anti pyretics
User :   said it was due to poor eating habits, fair enough, i live alone.. diet wasnt great in the last 2 weeks.
Doctor :   Which country are you from?
User :   ah yes, i went to another clinic, dont know how specialized, but said, sounds like an infection, because I told him a few days ago, i had cut my anus, due to diahhrea. So he gave me amoxcillin 500mg and myprodol
User :   finding a good doctor is hard, would require me to go to, which is costly. so I was hoping you would be able to help me
Doctor :   I really would say you get a physical examination done as you have a ulcerative colitis
User :   over the days, with the same pain killers.. i have noticed reduced pain though, its easier to sit and sleep .. but fever is still there, and i sweat in my bed
User :   after using the banana resolution
Doctor :   It could be a complication like perineal abscess,
User :   how bad is a perineal abcess?
Doctor :   and as said by you it is fro the second time
Doctor :   Perineal abscess is an infection near the anus, it goes deep when not treated
Doctor :   and further causes problems like fistula
Doctor :   It can also be a skin infection
Doctor :   which is also common
User :   but, if it goes deep.. shouldnt I feel more pain ?
Doctor :   at that region
User :   and i was told perineal abcess spread..
User :   this has stayed the same size for past 5 days
Doctor :   Infcat abscess may not cause pin
Doctor :   pain
User :   hmm
Doctor :   it hurts for somedays and fever
User :   alright, if it was a preineal abcess, i imagine I have to go to, and get it drained? (is that painful?)
Doctor :   later as the infection goes deeper it causes other problems
User :   also, what would u suggest if it was just a skin infection (because I believe the last time it was)
Doctor :   Ok
User :   you are getting me worried =/ lol
Doctor :   These are few thoughts running in my mind as you say you have IBD
User :   but currently .. i mean when i go to the washroom, i have mucus, and gas (likely antibiotics), but in the morning there is solid feces, (soft) but shape is there.
User :   and in terms of swelling over the days, it is better and the anus opening has a lot less swelling.
Doctor :   You take care not to use the otc antibiotics much as you already have UC
Doctor :   So just get a physical examination done
User :   I stopped using my UC meds, as i was told not to mix (SA pills.. sulfur something)
Doctor :   and it may flare up
Doctor :   Yes there is sulfasalazine
Doctor :   in UC drugs
User :   hmm.. alright i suppose I will have to go to get this examination, I dont think there is a good doctor in XXXXXX
User :   UC drug i stopped taking 5 days ago (SALFOZAK)
Doctor :   It needs a simple general physician
Doctor :   to drain the pus
User :   does it hurt?
Doctor :   It does nt need a general surgeon but aseptic technique is imp
Doctor :   No the local anesthesia is given
Doctor :   how could you know about this site
User :   will i require stitches?
Doctor :   no
User :   I was searching for a free online doctor to help me, because they might have more idea, then going to clinic
Doctor :   I dont know the health care system in XXXXX
User :   i was hoping u were going to tell me its just a skin infection.. which i thought it was because it originitated from where i cut my anus (thats where the swelling makes contact with the anus)
Doctor :   Ok, its always good if it is ruled out by a physical examination by doctor
Doctor :   to keep the things safe
Doctor :   side
User :   alright
User :   i shall go to the clinic then
Doctor :   Ok bye
User :   Thank you very much for your help!
User :   it is very much appreciated!
User :   hi?
User :   hi?
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :   are you there
Doctor :   I have to close this window as there is no response from your side. Please get back if you need any medical advice.
