User :   since past few days I have a recurring headache and since 3 days i feel stiffness in my neck / shoulder which causes lot of discomfort
User :   i have taken dolo 650 which provides temporary relief

User :   as of now no headache, but neck feels stiff
User :   i am 38 year old and work with HSBC as a project manager
User :   lead an active lfe (gym 3-4days a week)

Doctor :   1 Give 2-3 days off for Gym so that muscles will recover
Doctor :   2. Take Ibuprofen 400mg 3 times day + Pantop 40 mg for 3-4 days
Doctor :   Dolo will reduce pain but does decrease inflammation
Doctor :   3. Do the weight lifting very gently
Doctor :   do by according to your capacity . do not over exert. the purpose of Gym is keeping u fit

Doctor :   You can take in addition to Ibuprofen to control pain
Doctor :   The headache in your case coming from over stress may be from Gym related neck pain or from work stress
Doctor :   the ibuprofen and Dolo will help headaches but that is not the long term solition

Doctor :   Headache will be evaluated by neurologist and he will also review X ray
Doctor :   There are prophylactic medicine to prevent recurring headaches
