User :   i have a swollen lump in my inner thigh. i looked at a chart of inguinal lymph nodes and it doesnt seem to fit the location. i get them from time to time and they are painful and they appear on either side. the only way to point it out is if i spread my legs as it is very inner just outside my leg crease. sometimes if i squeeze it pus comes out. it also seems attached to my skin.
Doctor :   Hi.
User :   hey
Doctor :   Let me read through it,
User :   okay
Doctor :   For how long how you been getting it
User :   years
User :   on and off
User :   they come and then after a while they shrink and disappear
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Can you send me a closer picture of it at
User :   you wouldnt be able to see it, its only slight redness
Doctor :   I will look at it and get back to you in detail. Don't worry about your chat duration here
Doctor :   ok
User :   okay, to what attention should i send?
Doctor :   you can send me the top view of it
Doctor :   with subject line
User :   okay, i will take a picture right now and send it within one minute

Doctor :   ok. let me check, give me a moment
Doctor :   i have had a look at them
Doctor :   could you describe the consistency of the lumps?
Doctor :   are they soft, firm or hard?
User :   firm
Doctor :   are you able to move them? or are they fixed?
User :   fixed to the skin
User :   but movable
Doctor :   what is the color of the pus draining out?
User :   if i move the skin
User :   white
Doctor :   is it cheesy or white or yellow?
Doctor :   ok
User :   but it doesnt always drain
Doctor :   ok
User :   sometimes cheesy sometimes liquidy
Doctor :   more than the lymph nodes, what you are getting is probably furuncles
Doctor :   as the area involved is hairy and away from any lymph node location
User :   ahh
Doctor :   furuncles are more common in these area due to high moisture content and sweat
User :   so like an ingrown hair?
User :   i get similar in my armpit
Doctor :   yes, more like infection at the hair follicle root
User :   same consistency
User :   same pus
Doctor :   do you have diabetes history in your family?
User :   none at all
Doctor :   have you checked your sugar levels recently?
User :   no
User :   i do not experience any diabetic symptoms
Doctor :   they are more common and frequent to appear in diabetic people
Doctor :   hence get your fasting and post prnadial sugras checked
User :   ahh
Doctor :   and get them examined once along with culture test of teh pus draining out
Doctor :   to identify the organism responsible
User :   what made me think it was the lymph nodes was the fact that i usually get a cold around the same time
Doctor :   and start with definitive treatment with antibiotics to get rid of them
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   but the appearance and description do not fit the diagnosis of lymph nodes
User :   but with your professional pinion, it doesnt seem to be a lymph node?
User :   okay
User :   i'm glad
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   yes, should check sugar levels
User :   and get biopsy
Doctor :   is there anything else I can help you with?
User :   i also have a bunch of sebacious cysts on my scrotum
Doctor :   yes and also the culture test of the pus draining out.
User :   very small
Doctor :   ok
User :   may be related
User :   ?
Doctor :   if very small , then you can leave them alone
User :   i have ben trying to use a heating pad
User :   they arent very pretty
Doctor :   if they are with discomfort, get them removed surgically.
