Doctor:I was reading your conversation.
Doctor:Let me explain to you.
Doctor:Placenta previa is a precarious condition which can cause bleeding during pregnancy.
Doctor:so can a genital infection.
Doctor:From the outset, I though the initial discharge may also be a clotted blood.
Doctor:However I was pleased to know that your gynecologist examined you and ruled out the possibility.
Doctor:In this context, my suggestion to you is avoid straining.
Doctor:Take adequate rest.
Doctor:Monitor the amount of bleeding.
Doctor:And report back to your gynecologist.
Doctor:She may plan a repeat ultrasound scan to see if there is any blood collection behind the placenta.
Doctor:And if the bleeding is severe, medications like tranexamic acid can be started.
Doctor:In simple words,
Doctor:the symptoms warrant strict bed rest and monitoring.
Doctor:You may need a repeat scanning if bleeding persists/if you develop abdominal pain.
Doctor:Have you followed?
User:Yes Dr. definitely
User:she called me back again coming Saturday. But when I saw fresh bleeding I was thinking whether to continue this tablets or mot
User:only 2 i have taken til now
Doctor:If I were to be your treating doctor, i would repeat an ultrasound scan first
Doctor:Till then avoid straining.
Doctor:Preferable to be lying down at most occasion.
User:anamoly scan was done 2 days back (satday) and on the same day she tested and advise Candid - CL tabs for me
Doctor:If the scan was normal 2 days ago, it is a positive finding.
Doctor:Perhaps the bleeding may be a minor event.
Doctor:Please continue the drugs and watch the symptoms.
Doctor:and rest for most of the days.
Doctor:Watch for persisting bleeding, if it continues to report back to your doctor.
User:OK Dr. i got you
Doctor:Is there any other query?
User:nothing else. as my gyanae is far away from my home, i just felt to contact you...Thanks for your time
