User:I wanted an advice regarding the continous cough my wife is experiencing since last few days
User:as she is pregnant, hence she is avoiding taking any medicine
User:so what should be done in that case
Doctor:it seems like it is an acute problem
Doctor:does she have a chronic history of asthma or recurrent cough?
User:no history of cough
User:i think it is triggered by change in weather,e tc

User:it becomes more intense during the night
Doctor:as she is pregnant we should be a bit cautious

Doctor:she could do salt water gargling with warm water and do steam inhalation as well
