User:Hello Doctor my wife has FBS=110 and PPBS= 114 - she is in 29th week of pregnancy.
User:any suggestion on this details
Doctor:when were the tests done ?
User:i am actually waiting for the doctors appointment
User:these tests are done today
User:we just got the report
Doctor:the blood levels of the FBS, (fasting) are just above the normal range
User:as the doctor is suspecting gestational diabetes - i actually wanted to know from you if this is normal
Doctor:The PPBS is within the normal range
User:also i came to know that my wife has taken a glass of water early in the morning before taking FBS - is that an issue ?
Doctor:has the urine check benn done ?
Doctor:no drinking water is not an issue
Doctor:how many hours did she fast , before the sample was given
User:the sample was given at 9:30 am
User:she has not taken any thing from morning except a glass of water early in the morning
Doctor:the normal fasting BS should be less than 100 mg/ dl
Doctor:you need not worry too much
User:okay the glass of water is nothing to be taken into consideration ?
Doctor:your doctor will ask for a proper diet control and a repeat check of the blood sugar at a later date ,
Doctor:in addition, a HBA1C test can also be done to check for the glucose control in the past 3 months
User:the thing is her urine color remains pale yellow - 4-5 times a week - she is getting pale yellowish urine
Doctor:drinking water is absolutely fine

User:okay also is there any way to bring this 110 down or atleast maintain this level till the delivery

Doctor:but she has to take them in a ordered manner and in limited quantity
Doctor:her blood sugars are not that high, to worry about
Doctor:for a specific diet, she can consult a dietician, who can give a proper diet plan to her
