User:My wife is pregnant and in her fourth month

User:and now she is complaining that she is getting lot of back pain
User:when checked with the regular doctor, the one that we are visiting, she said that it is not related to pregnancy
User:but can be some issues with the back, like not sitting properly
User:bending much
User:something like that
User:but now the pain is very severe for her
User:my counterpart are work said that its very common in pregnancy

User:is there something to worry
User:should i take to her to hospital?

Doctor:During first pregnancy, the uterus grows outside pelvis causing some discomfort

User:she complained she has her thighs paining too
Doctor:Where exactly is the pain on back?
User:its lower back

Doctor:Most probably due to growth of uterus and improper posture her back has gotten strained
Doctor:She can take pain-killers like brufen for pain
Doctor:Most back pains get better on their own in some time
Doctor:If she does not get better then she may need a visit to an orthopedic surgeon, where she has to tell the doctor about her ongoing pregnancy
Doctor:Tell her to change her posture frequently
Doctor:Move around or walk around when pain is bad
Doctor:Take calcium supplements like calcium sandoz daily
Doctor:Take enough milk at least 2 -3 glasses
Doctor:She has to stop bending

Doctor:Spring mattress is also ok
Doctor:Take her along while shopping for it, so that she can try
