User:I am 7 weeks pregnant and travelling to Europe for about 10 days starting early morning on 19th
Doctor:What is your age?
Doctor:Is this your first pregnancy?
User:I wanted to know if it is safe to take certain medication in case a need arises during the trip
User:This is my second pregnancy. My daughter is 4 years old. I am 33
User:In particular I wanted to know which medicine can be taken for headache if it becomes unbearable.
Doctor:First 12 weeks carries relatively a higher risk in terms of travel, medication and physical stress
User:I understand
Doctor:So in terms of medication, most over the counters are safe during the pregnancy.
User:I got a go ahead from my OBG for travel after an early pregnancy scan which showed a normal heartbeat etc.
Doctor:If you have headache you can take Acetaminophen / Paracetmol
Doctor:Major reason for headache is dehydration
Doctor:so ensure you hydrate well
Doctor:Ensure you do not get physcially stressed out
Doctor:Take breaks and do not continue any work or food that is uncomfortable and not properly cooked
Doctor:Contineu Folic acid and Iron supplements
Doctor:Take bottled water only
Doctor:Eat cooked food only, do not try anything new
Doctor:it may upset your stomach in the new place
