User :   we r planning for a baby, need to ask some questions about that

User :   some of my wife's colleague were discussing about taking folic acid when u start planning

User :   is it required? should she take folic acid?

Doctor :   folic acid is taken if there is an risk of neurological disorder in the fetuses and if the maternal age is greater than 35
User :   ok.. so she is not required to take folic acid before or even during pregnancy also

Doctor :   but in cases of high risk pregancny and women having issues like lax uterus, travelling is not adviced
