User :   On Nov 2,2010 I had laser surgery to repair an eye bleed, next day i woke up with altered vision. Is this a cornea haze and will it imporove. I am ready to go for a second opinion I am scared out of my mind.

User :   I ran back to the doctor with the problem, i was told everything look normal, was he kidding or what. there is nothing normal about my eye site right now

Doctor :   The Laser technique takes anything between 7 days to 2 weeks for a good recovery
Doctor :   If the doctor has examined you after the procedure with the slit lamp and found that there is nothing wrong
Doctor :   and the changes are consistent with post laser procedure

User :   Is it possible I have this cornea haze I just read about and it will clear up, or is there scaring. Have you heard about this problem and dealt with it.
Doctor :   Cornea haze can clear up in the time I mentioned above
Doctor :   The chances of scaring is less than 5%
Doctor :   and since your doctor is confident you should not be concerned

User :   I don't know what kind of laser of course, but it hurt like the dickens

User :   My eye still hurts. what is front of my eye is obstructing.

User :   I am trying to look through a milk bottle
User :   He gave me no drops.
User :   If I know that it may be edema and will clear up, I won't be a scared. My job is at risk.

User :   In the back of the eye, retina, he is a retina specialist.

User :   I will have to retire if this does not clear up.

User :   When he looked in after dilating he said everything looked normal, could he see if there was a problem.

User :   would he be able to see scaring on the cornea.??
Doctor :   yes
User :   I will have to sit tight for now. 7 to 14 dayss right?
Doctor :   Yes
User :   ok, thanks for being there.
