User :   After falling and requiring stitches my forehead appears to be swelling more and more

User :   No, my neck area is a little sore with slightly limited range of motion, but doctor checked column and didnt have any added pain.
User :   The swelling of my forehead is new, it was a little this morning and more now, the accident took place last night around 2:00 am.
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   so about 20 hours ago

Doctor :   where did you get the stitches?
User :   From a local doctor here in Costa Rica, there are a total of 7 stitches
Doctor :   I meant which part of the body?
User :   The injury was jagged in a variety of locations on the top of my head, not my forehead, what concerns me is now my forehead is swollen.
User :   From top of forehead back 3-4 inches towards top of head.
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   what is the color of the swelling ?
Doctor :   How big is it?
User :   No color, my skin tone appears to be the same.
Doctor :   Is it soft to touch?
User :   it starts at the bridge of my nose, up to almost the top of my forhead, and above each eye

User :   a 1 or 2 meaning very week. Just worried about continued swelling through the night.
User :   Is it normal to have a swollen forhead after a top of head injury?

User :   What is rapid, because it has changed quite a bit in the last 10 hours, it is definately bigger.
User :   changed as in gotten larger, but again no discoloration.
Doctor :   Do you have any past history liver or kidney disease?
User :   No I do not

User :   How about showering with stitches in the top of my head is that an issue?
Doctor :   No shower for 2 to 3 days
Doctor :   on that area.

User :   Okay, and if I already have?
Doctor :   and avoid any contamination

User :   Doctor gave me a cream Neobol, how do I put it on the wound and then not clean it when it is dried out.
Doctor :   Clean it with sterile cotton.
User :   and just wipe it off?

User :   okay, he also gave me a type of soap Sterop Lisan
User :   thats why I thought it was okay to shower

Doctor :   you can take shower after 1 or 2 days.
User :   okay and then use the soap...okay. So when should the swelling go down?
User :   in my forehead that is.

Doctor :   Did he prescribe any painkillers?
User :   yes and two antibiotics

User :   Yes

User :   Clavulanic Acid 125 MG

User :   NeoFlax tiocolchicosido 4 MG mild muscle relaxer

User :   heard of any of that?
Doctor :   Then you need not take Ibuprofen.
User :   Sorry one is Curam 1000MG and Amoxocilan 875 and the other 124 is Clavulanic Acid
Doctor :   As you already taking Arcoxia Extrocixib 120 MG.
User :   Ah okay, that is one pill per day....
Doctor :   As prescribed by the doctor.

User :   Anything else I can do to reduce the swelling?
Doctor :   You can give hot water bag compressions.
User :   okay sounds good thank you.
User :   will the Ibuprofen hurt?
User :   in addition to the Acoxia?
Doctor :   Combining two painkiller is not advised.
Doctor :   It will cause in wanted effects.
