User :   I have had an itchy eye for the past day. it feels like there is something small in the left side of my left eye. I took a close up picture of it but live over 80 miles to the cloest doctor and wanted someone to look at the picture before I drove the 2 hours.
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hello
Doctor :   Yes you may send the picture to us at
User :   If I send you a link to an image - can you look at it and tell me if this is something you recognize as being just an irritation?
Doctor :   OK
Doctor :   Yes I got your photo
Doctor :   Before you expect any answers
Doctor :   I would like to have a few details about you
User :   ok
User :   I am 40 years old. Weigh aprox 350 lbs. Am not diabetic but have been told I am "borderline diabetic". I just had cellulitus and am currently taking an oral antibiotic called Keflex (not the first time I have had cellulitus)
Doctor :   Yes clever, thats almost the details
User :   Sorry - I had that typed out already. I am sure there is more you need to ask.
Doctor :   Past day, is how many days exactly?
User :   it has felt this way for about 24-30 hours
Doctor :   OK
Doctor :   Was the ithching
Doctor :   sudden in onset?
Doctor :   Did you travel or venture into any dusty area?
Doctor :   I just want to know whether anything fell into your eyes?
User :   It was just a feeling like I had something small in my eye. I think the itching was a result of me constantly rubbing it and trying to remove what I thought was dust or something in there.
User :   I don't believe anything fell in my eye - i haven't been in any real dusty areas.
Doctor :   OK, I cant make out very clearly, but is the dust entirely in the white
Doctor :   part of the eye-conjunctiva?
Doctor :   or is it on the lower eyelid?
User :   do you see the area of the eye that I am referring to? it looks like a bump on the lens of the eye?
Doctor :   Yes I meant the bump, not dust exactly
User :   oh ok sorry - you know what I'm referring to then
Doctor :   Ok, so it is entirely on the white part for sure?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Your eye has inflammed due to it
Doctor :   It could either be a buried foreign body
Doctor :   It is going to cause a lot of irritation
Doctor :   you need lubricant eye drops
Doctor :   Artificial tears, until you get yourself
Doctor :   evaluated by an ophthalmologist
User :   Ok - thank you very much. My time appears to be up. Thank you for your time.
Doctor :   Take an eye drop with Ketorolac
Doctor :   & artificial tears
