User :   hi when i lift my head up (say to look at the top shelf in a super markert) i go dizzy also if i lay flat on the floor or bed. have been to doc & had scan on blood vessel in neck, with no apparent results. was put on asprin and told don't look up, and that some older people when experianced tic in lower back of head some times find they get dizzy when looking up. which i thought was very cheeky of doc as i an 44 yrs old. my mum has high blood pressure and mine have been 117/77 @midnight on the 15th/16 may and 115/78 at 4.15am on the 16th may (working nights) and 107/73 at 3am on the 17th may if these symtoms are telling me i have blood pressure should i go to another docs,

User :   not alot. as i said they gave me a scan on the blood vessels in my neck to see if they where beinging blocked. and that is all

User :   my age is 44 female personal carer at nursing home, night shift, western australia, married, height 160cm weight 58kg no medical history to cover what is going on i did suffer from TB 1973 and gladual fever 1988, and no x rays or ct scans done

Doctor :   i would recommend a orthopedic check for you to rule out possibility of cervical spondylosis
Doctor :   since your blood pressure readings are fine for your age
Doctor :   the possibility of cervical spondylosis has to be ruled out
Doctor :   also, the following blood investigations should be done: complete blood counts, EKG, lipid profile, kidney profile tests, thyroid profile tests.
Doctor :   get these tests done and take opinion and evaluation from a orthopedician
