Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
User :   who am i speaking with
User :   oh how r u
Doctor :   Fine
Doctor :   How may i help you?
User :   yes i had talked to a doctor on here earlier and forgot to ask one question i had travelled to th ephilippines and went out in town and had some fun lets say and i also had a massage with the oils and such and when i got back to japan i noticed a spaced out bundle all over my chest or pinkish flat spots, and i asked him what it could be one said psuedomans folliculits or something like that and one said generalized ulclaria or something and said i should take benedryll and i said i had already been doing that along with cortisone cream for the past 3 days it minimized it some but doesnt seem like it is fading or going away anymore than what it already has shouldnt after using it for like 4 days shouldnt it already be gone by now
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Are there any flakes present
User :   no it wasnt leisons or anything like that it was completly flat pinkinsh spots
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Any sensation of itching
User :   no
Doctor :   And is it present anywhere else
User :   not that i can see
User :   just on my chest and a lil on the adominal area
Doctor :   I guess its probably an utricaria

Doctor :   Developed after the massage
User :   i got pics if that would help you any
Doctor :   So will require soothening lotions
Doctor :   And stop with steroids as completed four days
Doctor :   Avoid sun exposure to affected area will fasten healing'

User :   wouldnt the hydrocortisone and the benedryll have gotton rid of it completly or could it outlast those
Doctor :   It would fasten healing
Doctor :   Did you also have cough
User :   no cough no fever
Doctor :   Why was benadryl prescribed
User :   i did that on my own i am a medic in the navy so i also thought it was a reaction to the oils so i did that alone with the hydrocortisone for inflammation and all
Doctor :   Benadryl is an cough depressant
Doctor :   will not help in healing the patches
User :   ok well the one i got said it was for allergies for itching, rashes and all
Doctor :   No

Doctor :   Hydrocortisone is an stroid will help fasten healing
Doctor :   And Calamine lotion should help
User :   the cream i got has aloe in it
Doctor :   And I also feel that you will require examination by an doctor

User :   should i use a lotion on top of that or
Doctor :   As the rashes are present more than 3 days after medications too
Doctor :   No

User :   i went to my military doc and he ordered a cbc a ua and something else but i dont get the results till monday
Doctor :   I suggest only use of calamine
Doctor :   Will rule out allergic reaction
User :   as i had sex and oral any chance this is a std and during sex i did use a condom but not during the oral
User :   and she did the oral not me'
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :   If you are sure you were safe
Doctor :   Then need not worry
Doctor :   And was an condom used during oral too
User :   no during oral a condom was not used
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Was your partner having any blisters in her oral cavity
User :   not on the outside that i seen
Doctor :   Ok
User :   but if she did wouldnt that be present on the genital area not the chest
Doctor :   In that case will suggest you to get tested for HIV
Doctor :   And other viral markers
User :   well the thing with the military is if you arnt showing any symptoms they will not test u as that cost to much money
User :   bc i am overseas and they have to send it off
Doctor :   Then do approach a private lab

Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Then Get it tetsed when ashore
User :   but like i said wouldnt that be present on the genital area instead of the chest
Doctor :   In case of viral infections can present anywhere if there is a systemic infection
Doctor :   But I cant confirm the same without examning you
Doctor :   I would suggest you to get an dermatologist visit when possible
User :   two questions for u one is with the cbc and ua could they rule out any std with that
Doctor :   They can sure rule out infection

Doctor :   Std will require viral markers
Doctor :   There will be puss cells in urine and increaed Eosinophil count in blood if infection is present

User :   sorry for all the questions i deal with combat medicine so dont know much about this stuff
Doctor :   No issues i am here to help you
User :   well i know if you have a std or whatever then in the cbc ur wbc would be low wouldnt it
Doctor :   Yes they will raise
User :   so if that is the case they would have to order more blood work to find out y wouldnt they
Doctor :   In case the values are raised then will suggest further tests
User :   would u mind if i sent u some pics and give me a educated guess
Doctor :   Yes sure

Doctor :   At YYYY@YYYY
User :   k just a sec
User :   ok i sent them my email is YYYY@YYYY
Doctor :   Ok let me check
Doctor :   Not yet received
User :   k let me check
User :   it says it sent might just take a sec
Doctor :   Ok just a moment
Doctor :   Ya received
User :   ok
Doctor :   I guess it more like utricaria
Doctor :   Or an allergic reaction to creams
Doctor :   will require an examintion to confirm the same
User :   does that look like any kind of std u ever seen
Doctor :   They are also prone to produce rashes

Doctor :   But how do i confirm the same
Doctor :   rashes are produced due to various reasons
Doctor :   1, Inflammation
Doctor :   2, infection
Doctor :   3, allergy
Doctor :   4, insect bites
User :   well if it is just a allergic reaction i can deal with that you know
Doctor :   But i guess it not an STD
User :   being if it was an std it would have taken longer than that to appear wouldnt it
Doctor :   Yes

User :   i mean most incubation periods are atleast a month if im not mistaken
User :   being a medic i shouldnt had been more careful but young dumb u know
User :   should have
Doctor :   Yes atleast two months minimum some cases a year too
User :   well thats deff reassuring lol
User :   do you mind if i ask you what is your specialty
Doctor :   General physician

User :   thats cool i am wanting to specialize in infectious disease or like hematology or something so another reason why for all the questions
