Doctor:Other treatments like a glycolic peel or fraxel laser
User:thn hw can i reduce the marks doctor?
Doctor:These will be required if all the marks need to go
Doctor:The first step is using adapalene 0.1% at night
Doctor:This will reduce the scars to some extent
Doctor:Additionally, you can also HYSEAC cream. But it is slightly expensive ( arnd 1500-2000)
User:k doctor....
Doctor:If it doesnt work, the next step is a glycolic peel
Doctor:Sometimes, we directly use fractional laser
Doctor:This is done by cosmetic surgeons
User:k..what does this adapalene 0.1% do to our skin?hw does this help?
Doctor:It actually contains Vitamin A
Doctor:This increases the turnover of the epithelial cells
Doctor:Which helps the top layers of the skin to be shed and replaced by new skin
Doctor:But the important part is apply only at night
Doctor:It can cause a rash if it is applied at day time
User:k...these days i use Erytop...
User:this has reduced the pigmentation

Doctor:Once you massage the gel in

User:wont there be any kind of reaction?
Doctor:It would be safe
Doctor:On its own, adapalene will cause dryness of skin and redness of lips
Doctor:But thats an expected side effect and you dont need to worry about it
Doctor:It will become ok on its own
