User :   hello. My question is, I got prescribed Penicilin VK for my strep throat. Should i spread my timing to take the pills for a 24hr period where i have to wake up at night to take the pills, or just for the 12hour period
User :   I am supposed to take 4pills a day for 10days
Doctor :   you should take it 6 hourly
Doctor :   spread it to 24 hrs cycle
User :   well this is my 3rd day of doing the 12hour cycle
User :   should i convert to the 24hr cycle
Doctor :   at present how are you taking?
User :   i take one 10am
Doctor :   ok
User :   then one at like 3
User :   and then at 7pm
Doctor :   ok
User :   and then at 10pm
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   it is not the ideal way
User :   becuase ur body is not getting a dose for that full 12hour period correct? i get it
Doctor :   you can take it 6, 12, 6, 12
User :   hmm okay that make sense
Doctor :   for some hours
Doctor :   it is overdose
Doctor :   and for the other it will be underdosed
Doctor :   as the half time is less of this drug
