User :   Hello dr.
I took Primolut N for ten days to postpone my period. I stopped three days ago, and my period began yesterday. Today, some kind of tissue passed. It kind of looke like a part of animal liver. It wasnt a clot for sure. It was grayish white in most parts, and red in others.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   please let me read your post
Take your time
Doctor :   most probably it will be cervical mucus with clots
User :   The tissue was quite big
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   was it having any smell
Doctor :   was it red mostly
Doctor :   i feel it will be the edematous endometrium
User :   It was gray and red, and unlike a normal bliod clid it doesnt tear with water
Doctor :   shed from the uterine cavity
Doctor :   Are your periods regular?
User :   Is that normal?
Doctor :   since the primolut n has caused sudden change
Doctor :   in your hormonal balance
Doctor :   it can be due to that mostly
User :   Yes they are. But i postponed it this month
Doctor :   ara you still bleeding?
Doctor :   ok
User :   Yes my regular period flow. Nothing different, just more painful and that piece of tissue
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   The formulation of blood clots and inflammation of the veins are both also severe possible side effects of Primolut-N
Doctor :   If you notice any symptoms of either of these conditions, you need to immediately seek medical help, for safety purposes.
User :   What are the symptoms?
Doctor :   Some signs to look out for are coughing for no obvious reason, abnormal leg pains, abnormal swelling of the legs or the arms, shortness of breath, weakness or numbness on one side of the body, sharp chest pains
Doctor :   Some people are advised against taking Primolut-N for safety reasons.
Doctor :   These include pregnant females, those allergic to norethisterone, those who have or who have experienced liver cancer, those who have various varieties of jaundice
Doctor :   since you dont have any of these symptoms
User :   Ok thanks for your help doc
Doctor :   Thanks...............
User :   Thank you!
