Doctor :
How long was the journey?
User :   yes while i was pregnant

Doctor :
Ok.
User :   and i got out like every 3-4 hours
Doctor :
The pain due to clotting of the blood happens if there ios gross immobilisation of the limbs for more than 2 to 3 days
Doctor :
it is unlikely to be a blood clot.
User :   really?
Doctor :
It probably may be just a simple muscle cramp
Doctor :
secondary to the stress of the journey
Doctor :
have you followed?
User :   well i have a horrid fear of blood clots and had an ultra sound last month in my thigh which came back fine, i just get so worried everytime i have a cramp
Doctor :
I shall suggest you few measures?
Doctor :
Do not be worried.
Doctor :
Since the pain has been reducing and you were not completely immobilised it may not be a blood clot.
Doctor :
I shall suggest few measures
User :   ok
Doctor :
1. Drink adequate amount of water
Doctor :
2. You can use hot water bag on the affected calf
Doctor :
3. Voveran spray are available and that can be used for pain relief.
Doctor :
With these measures you must be fine.
User :   are you sure
Doctor :
4. If the pain increases or is persistent for more than a day inspite these measures you can get an examination done.
Doctor :
Yes I'm sure.

Have you followed?
