User :   i had a severe stomach ache during that time

User :   from last 8years

Doctor :   Do you get the pain throughout the period or only on the first days?
User :   throughout the periods

Doctor :   Are your periods regular apart from that?
User :   but its very severe on first 2 days

Doctor :   Has the bleeding recently increased in severity?
User :   yes they are regular now but not earlier
Doctor :   Ok.

Doctor :   The pain is a natural consequence during the early years of a woman's life. They usually become regular after a few years especially after marriage and child birth.
Doctor :   There is as such nothing to worry about as long as the periods are regular.
Doctor :   Has there been any recent weight gain?
User :   yes but not much
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Do you take any pain killers during the pain?
User :   yes i used to take meftal
Doctor :   I suggest that you use Tab. Meftal Spas during the first two days twice a day after food.
Doctor :   Not plain Meftal
Doctor :   Also take plenty of rest during that time.
Doctor :   Bed rest is preferable.
Doctor :   Dont walk, climb stairs and sit for prolonged periods unless unavoidable.

Doctor :   During the regular time you should exercise regularly
Doctor :   as that reduces pain during the periods.
Doctor :   At least 1/2 hour of exercise 5 days a week is good.
Doctor :   soaking in a hot bath or using a heating pad on your abdomen may ease your cramps.

Doctor :   Massage, yoga and meditation are also found to help.
Doctor :   Regular walking or treadmill is sufficient.
Doctor :   If inspite of all these precautions the pain in unbearble
Doctor :   then you may need hormonal medicines
Doctor :   but that is unlikely with the precautions
