User :   i am having pain in my throat

Doctor :   For Administrative and health purposes, Please provide these details of the patient-Age: Gender: Occupation: Location: Marital Status: Weight and Height: Dependents: Yes/ No.
User :   24 male proffesional, dubai, single, 83 and 5feet 11 nches, no dependents
Doctor :   Since when are you having it and what has been the progress since the start of the illness
User :   i am having this from 3 days , i had strepsils which was of no use, then amoxicillin and cough syrup. i also did gargle. i am having little relief only
Doctor :   Amox what is the dosage that your are taking and how often and what is the cough suppressant that you are on
User :   every eight hours and the cough syrup name is Lomal ( thyme and sundew is wriiten over it)
Doctor :   Adult dose for Amox is 500mg every 8 hours or 6 hours based on severity and cough syrup needs to be taken every 6 hours since they will get washed away and then avoid machinery or driving
User :   should i increase the dose. i mean is the medication proper?
Doctor :   Yes it is proper and it shall take time to settle down and you should be fine in another 3 days time
