User :   no fever but i did have one REALLY REALLY low like 37 celcius
User :   its just a normal cough that hurts in teh chest place
User :   its been going on for a little more than 1 day though

User :   and prior to it i had a small throat problekm where it got big and i had a constant thirst for water
User :   and now my constant thirst is gone but the cough is here instead

Doctor :   i think you have had some pharyngitis, which has led to a cough that cause pain,

Doctor :   i would advice you to get a Chest Xray to rule out pneumonia as well

Doctor :   and a course of antibiotics for a week will definitely help
User :   my school nurse already saw my throat beefore and said it was big

User :   my parents say its not a big problem because it happens to thema
User :   and if i suggest an xray they will think its a little too much
Doctor :   also, your symptoms are more, so you defintitely need antibiotics , which are given by prescription
User :   yeah the only symptons i have now are all from the cough
Doctor :   since the pain in the chest, is severe, it is always better to rule that out than be sorry
User :   its not really severe
User :   i can handle the pain its not like it really really hurts
Doctor :   But if not, try steam inhalation, salt in warm water garlging , to reliee the cough
Doctor :   also try vick coughs drops, etc which will help you
User :   will it work as a long term
