Doctor :   Your history is suggestive of cervical neuropathy.
Doctor :   Cervical radiculoneuropathy to be inspecific.
Doctor :   In simple terms
Doctor :   this means a pinched nerve.
Doctor :   the problem exists in your neck, probably cervical spondylositis where in there is compression of the nerves coming out of the spine is getting compressed.

Doctor :   Let me suggest the measures that you need.
Doctor :   1. You need adequate rest; If feasible I do advice you to use cervical collars which are available easily at chemist/pharmacy stores
Doctor :   2. Use antiinflammatory medications such as Oral Ibuprofen tablets 400mg twice a day for 5 days. The pills to be taken after food.
Doctor :   3. Local heat therapy; hot water bags to the neck region and local anti inflammatory medications such as volini spray can be useful.
Doctor :   4. Symptoms should normalize with these measures however
Doctor :   in certain rare occasions
Doctor :   symptoms can aggravate.

Doctor :   Watch out for weakness in the form of difficulty in gripping hand, difficulty to raise the shoulder.
