Hello Doctor XXXXXXX
off late.. i am also experiencing pain in my right testes too..
but i dnt feel any lump in that one
and SOS surgery
i wanted to know your opinion on this
You can repeat the USG after 3 weeks of medication.
do you think there is any risk of infection spreading between them as I am having pain in both now
If infection is there, other problems should also start.
ok.. i am not able to indulge in any sexual activity because of the pain
but no fever or vomiting
Do you have any other problems.
no.. just constant pain
i did some research on internet.. but read that often these are harmless.. but I am having constant pain in this.. wht do you suspect?
Cysts are usually harmless.
but as such, it is occupying the normally available space.
So it causes, pressure on nearby nerves and blood vessels.
his is what causes pain.
can this effect fertility?
i do not have kids
If it does not cause any pain, then you need not do anything about it.
Cysts normally does not affect the fertility.
My class mate had a cancer on his left testis and had to be removed.
But still, he is blessed with 2 kids now.
but for this continuous pain.. i am unable to get involved in any sexual activity itself.. can i keep on taking painkiller or is there any other solution?
No, you should not take pain killers continuously.
The pain should be relieved within few days, as you are on medication now.
I saw that Hetrazan 100 is for worm infections.. would it help me?
So after 3 weeks, if you still have pain, I would advise you to go for a USG again, and then get a surgical removal of the cyst done.
earlier he had prescribed clymoval forte for 5 days
the pain was not there while i was on this medicine.. but it came back when I stopped having it
Yes, Hetrazan is used in persisting epididymal cysts.
Because, it was suppressing the pain.
but if pain persists.. is there any other solution other than surgery?
I don't think you should be worried at present.
as because my family is not complete yet.. so getting bit worried
As I said, pain killers would do more harm than surgery.
surgery would have any effect on fertility?
Surgical intervention would be planned by your surgeon accordingly.
During surgery, nothing else, is interfered with.
Only the cyst is removed.
but if it is in the epididymal tube?
In normal conditions it should not case any infertility.
what are the odds?
It is like you get into an accident on the road while traveling.
So, be positive.
ok..so i will get the USG done after 3 weeks..
You should be doing fine.
thank you for your help Doctor]
You are welcome.
