User :   Hi, may I answer your heal
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hi
Doctor :   How may i help you?
User :   I have severe teeth pain in all my bottom molar teeth - went to a dentist today and he said there was nothing wrong with my teeth - he said my wisdom teeth may have to be removed someday because they are growing crooked - what else could cause the pain
Doctor :   most in young adults, the wisdom tooth can grow tangentially and impinge on the surrounding mucosa, causing pain and mucosal tears
Doctor :   as such if the x ray of the teeth is fine and yor dentist has ruled out any infection, etc, then there is nothing else to worry about
User :   but the pain is severe
Doctor :   As a matter of fact , once the wisdom tooth, is removed you may not have any other issues
User :   they throb
Doctor :   I do understand, as this is a very common situation,
Doctor :   as there is not much space fo r the teeth to grow, pressure and damge to surrounding teeth can cause such a pain, that u have now
Doctor :   also this condition can cause severe painful apthous ulcers that will pain more
Doctor :   application of benzocaine ointment over the affected tooth and area can give u some relief
Doctor :   benzocaine oral gel available in the local pharmacy or walmart may be useful
User :   I tapped on all of my teeth and they dont seem to hurt - can this throbbing pain still come from this
Doctor :   yes , its not an issue with the teeth
Doctor :   its the pressure on the surrouding tissue and structures
Doctor :   have u followed my advice ?
User :   I also have a mild fever 99.8F with throbbing headache, earpain, sinus pain and sore throat My Md felt that there was no infection - what do you think about this
User :   its been going on for 3 days i aslo have body aches
Doctor :   you may be having infection in the throat , and ear cavity which may be presenting in this way
Doctor :   this is called pharyngitis, and otitis media
User :   he looked in the my ear and said it was clear and aslo said I have post nasal drip and prescribed singular and zantac - do you think the fever and body aches are viral
Doctor :   most pharyngitis are of viral origin, which damage the mucosa of the throat, predisposing to infection by oral bacteria, mainly streptococci
Doctor :   this then spreads to the surrounding paranasal sinuses causing Post nasal drip
User :   can my wisdom teeth cause pain in the ears
Doctor :   singular will help, but in addition you may need to take some clarinex or claritin for symptom relief
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   pressure on the chorda typnani nerve in the oral cavity can cause referred pain to the ear
Doctor :   I hope i have answered your queries , effectively
