User :   Severe pain below lower right ribs. Pain made worse with deep breathing, coughing/sneezing, sniffling, physical activity and certain positions. Pain had sudden onset yesterday morning upon waking.

Doctor :   any fever, headache, ?
User :   Headache yes, but I also suffer from cluster headaches.
Doctor :   may i know your age ?

Doctor :   and how long have u had the symptoms ?
User :   Since yesterday morning. So about 31 hours now.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   any running nose, expectoration ?
User :   No.
Doctor :   your symptoms could be either due to a lung infection called pneumonitis
Doctor :   or due to hepatitis ( as suggested by the location of the right side of the lower chest)
Doctor :   you might consider to get the following tests
Doctor :   1. A chest Xray
Doctor :   2. Blood tests - CBC, ESR, liver functions, differnetial count BUN, Creatinine
User :   Should I seek care in an emergency room or should I just see my family doctor as soon as I can get in to see them?
Doctor :   Based on these tests, it will be able to know, the exact cause
Doctor :   if u can get to see ur doc in about 2 -3 days, then you can do that
User :   OK. What happens if the pain is so severe I can't sleep, move, or breath without hurting.
Doctor :   if your symptoms are very severe and intolerable, then a visit to the ER might be needed , for the pain as well as for proper treatment, to rule out causes like pneumothorax, etc
Doctor :   for the time being, take some Ibuprofen 800 mg for the pain
