I have calculated my BMI on your site
and it comes out to be 30
i want to be under normal weight category... which means I am 30+ kgs over weight
my weight is 99
How much ever I exercise and eat normal
the weight doesnt seem to go off
I was planning of a supervised fasting program for its health benefits I have read
I need your adivce

Let me explain.
1. I have verified the details submitted and yes you are bit over weight.
At 181 cms your ideal body weight would be between 65kgs to 75kgs.
so you definitely need to loose a bit of weight.
There are many options to do that. But fasting programmes have its cons too.
Nutritionist do not advice fasting programmes because of the rebound weight gains that could happen with it.
but what if we need to maintain the weight loss by fasting, through healthy changes?
Though there are many options gradual changes in diet and exercise are the ones recommended for sustained weight loss.
So I do not usually recommend fast weight loss programmes.
To explain in simple terms,
when you fast, your hunger receptors are stimulated which most often results in over eating in your next meal.
2. Continued fasting diminishes body metabolism, so you would really need a bit less that what you eat.
However these changes are not considered during the fasting programmes.
Apart from these, as the diet taken is not balanced, plenty of essential nutrients are missed which is not agreable.
I would instead suggest you to consult a dietician and personalize your diet with gradual and slow changes in your diet.
Here the weight changes are not abrupt.

It can take a few months to see some changes in your weight, but we do not expect rebound weight gain or loss of nutrition.
