User :   is it normal to have occasional rectal pain during my period? someone said it may be endometriosis? i have no blood in my stool, and no change of bowel movements. could it be colon cancer? im a 33 healthy, non smoking, non drug using female. I had an internal ultrasound on monday, and did not mention the pain to my dr. because i did not think of it until now. i got my period the next day, tuesday, and today, the heaviest day of my period is when i noticed the pain. it is not constant. it happens every so often and is a quick, dull or sharp pain that lasts for a second and goes away. i would describe the location as in the middle of my butt crack, but it is an internal pain. even though i did not mention this to my dr, would he be able to see this on the ultrasound? should I call him and tell him?
