Doctor:Good morning
User:I am 26 week pregnant now.
Doctor:How can I help you ?
User:Till now I was eating well from 4th month onwards But from last few days my stomach is little upset. I took nutrolin B plus capsule twice daily for 5 days. and now I feel much better. But in between whenever I took milk my stomach started paining.
User:Before this I used to take two glasses of milk morning and night. And I was gaining good weight. But from last 2 weeks not gained any wait not losses also. But I am little worried as I know this is the time when baby will grow up by wwight. So now if my weight is not gaining how come baby will grow. So what I need to do?
Doctor:Yes, you are right in saying this is the time the baby grows at a faster rate
Doctor:also the food intake by you may not be sufficient for now
Doctor:That is why you see no weight gain in you even you have food same as before
Doctor:You may have to increase your calorie and protein intake
User:So what type of food should I add
Doctor:You can add flavors added to the milk , like Horlicks or boost
User:ok. What else.
Doctor:You have to increase the vegetables , specially once which are cooked and XXXXXXX in fiber content
Doctor:Do avoid Potato and brinjal as they may cause satiety
Doctor:Taking ample number of fruits is also essential

Doctor:Citrus fruits are XXXXXXX in Vitamin C, do consume them with every meal
User:I already eating from beginning itself 5 almonds,4 walnuts, 2 figs in early morning. then 1 cup milk then break fast (veg poha/veg maggi/chhapati sabzi omlett) then 11AM some snacks then 1:30PM lunch with rice,dal,2 type of curry,curd, orange then evening two fruits(banana/pomegranate/strawberry/grapes) . then evening tea,biscuit. then dinner chhapati,one sabzi,dal, after 1 hour milk.
Doctor:That is good, I see you are on good food items which do really help.Do step up on the quantity
User:ok. and what vegetables you suggest to gain weight and good nutrition as well
Doctor:Also do take green leafy vegetables , as there are XXXXXXX in Vitamins essential for Pregnancy
User:Ok like spinach,methi,matth?
Doctor:Proteins like eggs, mushroom, pulses , whole wheat foods are good and essential for growth
Doctor:Yes, spinach and methi are good, do take them every day at-least in one meal
Doctor:You can also take Protein powders like Nutrilite available in market
Doctor:I would consider Nutrilite as a second option as they are processed.
Doctor:home foods like eggs and pulses are the best
User:Do I need to go for a sonography to see if baby is growing
Doctor:You can take Porridge made of pulses powdered after being fried
User:I did it on 20th week
Doctor:Yes, at around 20th week you may have to get an Ultrasound scan which is named Anomaly scan
User:right that was already done, and report was fine. so when should I go for next
Doctor:The scan has to be done by a experienced Radiologist
Doctor:Thats good then, do monitor your weight for another 2 weeks by increasing the calorie and protein intake
Doctor:If you see no weight gain in next two weeks, you may have to get the USG scan done
Doctor:There may also be a need for Color Doppler scan done which determines whether the blood supply to the baby is good
User:ok, thank you so much. I feel relief now, I will start eating what you suggested.
