ok
Doctor :
what did the lumbar MRI say?
Doctor :
what was wrong with these disc spaces?
User :   disc bulges mildly compressing the thecal sac
Doctor :
ok
User :   L5-S1 there is a central and left paracentral disc protrusion abutting thwe transversing left S1 nerve root
Doctor :   ok
User :   the after that procedure the doctor from the MRI talk to me and said that i have hydronephrosis of the right kidney and that she also saw a solid mass in my reamaining overy
Doctor :
ok
User :   then she adviced me to go see an oncologist asnd a nephrologist
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
i would like to interupt here
Doctor :

How long back was this lumbar MRI done for you? Was MRI brain done for you?
User :   and the whole abdominal ultrasound confirm the problem in my kidney but in the ovary it says only prominent right ovary
User :   i dont know what it means
User :   nov.24,2009
Doctor :
ok. you can continue with telling your symptoms. What did the nephrologist and oncologist say?
User :   the nephrologist just told me that with this kind of problem with my kidney is impossible formy age
User :   i just turn 27 this december
Doctor :   if it was only hydronephrosis, then it is possible to get that
User :   i diid not yet see an oncologist because im in a lot of pain
User :   in the ultrasound 12/04/2009 says
Doctor :
Hydronephrosis is the distention or dilation of the kidney with urine, caused by backward pressure on the kidney when the flow of urine is obstructed.
User :   moderate hepatomrgaly, with echotextural findings consistent with fatty infiltration
Doctor :   there can be many causes for this to happen
Doctor :
and was this fatty infiltration mild or moderate?
User :   gall bladder findings consitent w/ the presence of at least 3 gall stones as describe
User :   moderate
Doctor :
ok
User :   moderate hydronephrosis of the right kidney, from a calculus (nephrolitiasis)
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
are you on any medications now for the calculus and the pain?
User :   status post partial hysterectomy w/ at least 3 nabothian cysts within a cervical"stump"
User :   no doctor none
User :   prominent right ovary
Doctor :
ok
User :   last 2007 they saw that i have urinary retention
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
what are the main symptoms that are bothering you now?
User :   2007 result says consider pyelonephritis of the right kidney
Doctor :
and what would you like to know about the scan report?
User :   lower right pelvic pain
Doctor :
concentrate on the more recent investigations done
User :   dysmennorhea pain like came back after 4 years
Doctor :
and tell me the symptoms bothering you now.
User :   2 months now is below my ribs pain up to my back
Doctor :   ok
User :   yes that is my symptoms now dysmenorrhea pain, lower right pelvic pain like stabbing, right lower abdominal cramps, below the ribs pain up to my back
Doctor :
ok
User :   2 legs are numb, my left knee has no more strenght, my left thight is super sensitive with cold
User :   and very severe low back pain
Doctor :
ok
User :   right side headache my lymp nodes in the right side of the face is super painful, more painful when touch
User :   i have a little blood in the urine
User :   my stool is color black and at the end there is fresh blood
User :   im always dizzy
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
the stool color being black and blood at end of passing motion is suggestive of gastrointestinal bleed
Doctor :
do you have pain while passing motion?
Doctor :
are the stools hard?
User :   yes pain ful and that will also be the time that the gaspain im telling you about comes
Doctor :   ok
User :   yes i am also constipated like for 2 weeks
Doctor :
this can be due to constipation and gastritis together.
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
now coming to the blood in urine
Doctor :
it is due to the calculus damaging the mucosa of urinary tract
Doctor :
and also causing the hydronephrosis
User :   i forgot to mention that we notice 3 weeks ago and its still here the is a very hard hump
Doctor :
and back pain behind your lower ribs
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
where is the hump?
User :   like a bite from a mosquito im not syre if its in the surface of the vagina
Doctor :
ok
User :   but when you pressed it its very hard and like very long going deep
Doctor :
the dysmenorrhea and the pelvic pain that you are havingcould be due to the nabothian cysts.
User :   yes the pain in the front below the ribs has the same spot at the back
Doctor :
nabothian cyst is a mucus-filled cyst on the surface of the uterine cervix.
Doctor :   These nests of glandular cells (nabothian glands) on the cervix may become filled with secretions. As secretions accumulate, a smooth, rounded lump may form just under the surface of the cervix and become large enough to be seen or felt upon examination.
User :   oh there is in the right side also but below the pain under the ribs is a very big bruise but it does not ache
Doctor :   Each cyst can appears as a small, white, pimple-like elevation. These can occur singly or in groups, and are not a threat to health. The cysts are more common in women of reproductive age, especially those who have already had children.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :
the pain under your ribs on the back could be due to the hydronephrosis and the pain due to the stretching of the covering layer of the kidney
Doctor :   it will cause pain ion the entire back also at times
User :   the lump will it go away?
Doctor :
the nabothian cysts can cause severe dysmenorrhea if associated with cervicitis.
User :   there is also 1 hard lump on my left breast thats not moving only painful when touch
Doctor :   and if the pain is very severe, then treatment should be considered
User :   doctor what is cervicitis?
Doctor :
let me finish with telling you the possible reason for the symtoms yu have already told me to avoid confusion before you move on to other ones
Doctor :
this wil help you and me both to understand and conclude what is happening with you
Doctor :
cervicitis is inflammatory infection of the cervix
User :   oh ok im sorry im just worried
Doctor :   it will need colposcopic examination
Doctor :
and after the examination it wil be decided what best can be done for them to make them vanish
Doctor :
and not cause the pain
Doctor :
now coming to the hydroneprhosis, you wil need to meet a nephrologist for this
Doctor :
to start on correct treatment to make the calculus go away
Doctor :
in case it is big
Doctor :
you may require surgerical intervention
User :   can it be treated without surgery?
Doctor :
if the stone/calculus is small, then drugs may be tried
Doctor :
to see if they dissolve and come out
Doctor :
also the drugs will depend on the type of calculus
User :   i just double checked my result it says 1.4cm
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
that is a little big size
Doctor :
it will require opinion from a nephrologist
Doctor :
Blood tests like creatinine and electrolyte imbalance. Urinalysis may show an elevated pH due to the secondary destruction of nephrons within the affected kidney
Doctor :   IVUs, ultrasounds, CTs and MRIs can show the extent of damage
Doctor :
and location of the calculus
Doctor :
Treatment of hydronephrosis focuses upon the removal of the obstruction and drainage of the urine that has accumulated behind the obstruction which relieves the symptoms caused due to this
Doctor :
the specific treatment depends upon where the obstruction lies, and whether it is acute or chronic obstruction
Doctor :
Surgery is not required in all cases. it will depend on the nephrologists discretion
User :   the location on the very last ultrasound this dec. within the central medullary portion of the kidney
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
then this might require surgery as it is within the kidney
Doctor :
if it was outside the kidney then we could have tried out non surgical interventions
Doctor :
you can read up more about the hydroneprosis and causes, and treatment of it in the folllowing link
Doctor :
WWW.WWWW.WW User :   but im really wondering why the nephrologist said that not to worry
Doctor :   did he start you on any treatment?
User :   none
User :   he did not gave me anything
Doctor :
for a second opinion on this matter you can discuss your problem
Doctor :
with our panel specialists
Doctor :
WWW.WWWW.WW Doctor :
this is the link to discuss this with a nephrologist
Doctor :   WWW.WWWW.WW
User :   in my frustration and with so much pain i took celebrex cause im thinking that if its inflammed
Doctor :   this is the link to discuss this with a urologist
Doctor :
ok
User :   did i took the right medicine? but i only had it for 2 days
Doctor :
for the nabothian cyst and the dysmenorrhea
Doctor :   you can discuss with a gynacologist
Doctor :
WWW.WWWW.WW Doctor :
this is the link for it
Doctor :
celebrex is for relieving pain and inflammation
User :   doctor about the right ovary what is your opinion with that?
Doctor :
it is ok to take it for 2-3 days
Doctor :
it will releive the pain and inflammation caused due to the nabothian cyst and the calculus
Doctor :   i wil need to see the image either the ultrasound or the MRI image for giving you my comment on it.
Doctor :   as per the report that you have provided
Doctor :   it just says prominent right ovary
Doctor :   which could be due to the absence of left ovary
User :   there is one reading that says
Doctor :
as long as no other abnormality in it then no problems
User :   small low echogenicity foci are noted within its outline
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
those could be due to the maturing follicles also which represents the eggs inside it
Doctor :
you could discuss your recent reports with our panel gynecologist
User :   and the same date as that one with the cervix it says showing a large lobular anechoic structure of about 15.9mm size within its posterior upper segment. a smaller nodule of about 4.8mm size noted superiorly
Doctor :   these nodules are shown to be in the cervix?
User :   yes
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
these could be the nabothian cysts
Doctor :
which needs to be seen by a colposcopic examination
User :   oh ok
Doctor :
and then decided what can be done for them
User :   in everything what should i be worried first?
Doctor :
you should be first woried about the hydronephrosis and the calculus
Doctor :
then come back to the nabothian cysts
User :   oh ok
Doctor :
and then see for the pain relief from the bulging discs
Doctor :
in the lumbar spine
User :   but in the spine what are the possible traetment for that?
Doctor :
so get a opinion from nephrologist, then gynecologist and then an orthopedicain for your problems
Doctor :
the treatment includes pain management
Doctor :
and physiotherapy
Doctor :
and possible chirotherapy
Doctor :
after excluding the other causes of pain
Doctor :
like the hydronephrosis and teh nabothian cysts
Doctor :
in your case
Doctor :
have you followed what i have said?
User :   so all of this pain is coming from the kidney and the cervix?
Doctor :
most of it could be due to these two reasons
Doctor :
and then the spine
Doctor :
as pain coming from visceral organs are much more severe and worse as compared to opthers
Doctor :
due to the rich nerve supply associated with them
User :   what are the visceral organs>?
Doctor :
visceral organs are like kidney, liver, spleen
Doctor :
these have a capsule surrounding them
Doctor :
which cannot expand and has lot of nerves
Doctor :
which upon stretching cause severe pain
Doctor :
have you followed what i have said?
Doctor :
Is there any thing else I can help you with?
Doctor :   It seems you have moved out of the chat window. Please log in back if you have medical queries.
