User:this is regarding my daughter who is 18 months
User:we got her vit d levels tested recentlrecently
User:the report says her levels to be 117ng/ml
User:3 months back the same were 5
Doctor:5 is low and 117 is high value
User:our paedtrixian recommended ossopan d for a month when her levels were 5
User:we gave the supplement for a month and then stopped
User:now the high level are kind of concern for me
Doctor:So what are the concerns now?
Doctor:It will come down naturally
Doctor:There is nothing to worry about it
User:ok so is it kind of normal to have high levels in the interim for kids
Doctor:Well it is due to supplement intake
Doctor:Now that she has stopped the supplement, the vit d will get used up in the body and the values will come down
User:coz the report says that anything above 100 is toxic
User:so was kind of worried and wanted to have a second opinion
Doctor:I personally do not think it is of concern
Doctor:If you repeat the values again in a few days, you will notice that they have come down
