User :   i tried donating blood and they wouldnt let me because i had low iron or something

Doctor :   so that confirms that you have iron deficiency anemia , which is what is the cause of your fatigue
Doctor :   do u know your hemoglobin levels ?
User :   111 i think was one
User :   i cant remember the other one

User :   they said it was supposed to be 120 or something like that
Doctor :   In females , the normal levels is 120 -160
Doctor :   so you do have low hemoglobin levels
Doctor :   you might benefit by taking oral iron supplements on a daily basis for 3 months
User :   would that make me nauseous as well?
Doctor :   in addition taking a high protein diet, vitamin B complex supplements , will help you more energy,

Doctor :   in addition, you might consider getting a peripheral blood smear, to confirm the type of anemia
Doctor :   there are 3 types - microcytic (small RBCs) - due to iron deficiency
Doctor :   2. megaloblastic - (large RBCs) - due to Vit B12 and folic acid deficiency
Doctor :   and 3. mixed version, a combination of the above two
