User :   i have undergone multiple cabg two years ago. taking ecospirin,metformin,olmat,concord as prescribed. systolic bp 130 to 150 and diastolic 75 to 90 thru the day. am doing walking 5 kms a day. .sugar is reasonably ok. between 100 and 160 and i do not smoke or drink and i follow prescribed diet .is bp variation like above is it good for cabg or should i do something else

Doctor :   Since how long are you having blood pressure problem?

Doctor :   Do you have any other health problems?
User :   aftre cabg, i am fine and energetic as such and presently seem to be doing well
Doctor :   Slight fluctuations in blood pressure throughout the day are normal
Doctor :   It depends on various causes as stress, anxiety, food intake, sleep patterns etc
User :   understand by 150 pr 160 systolic is ok as i am an engineer and doing some amt of hard work and travel thru the day and i am on olmat and concor last six months
Doctor :   You are taking balanced diet also and doing regular exercise so its not a concern
User :   couple of weeks , i could also feel missed beat in the night and i wake up with sweat. and some anxiety and missed beat symptoms disappear and i no longer feel. is it ok doc
Doctor :   when did you have your last appointment with treating doctor?
Doctor :   Did you feel this missed beat again?
User :   two months ago, ususally every six months after the surgery in 2008. re the missed beats , i reported to them as well. they say it is no worry when they tested few times, it was not there. but i am feeling missed beats now and then in the night
Doctor :   After CABG its not a problem to have occasionally missed beat symptom.
User :   they said one of the bp medicines lower the beats and it is now 60 average no need to do any change do u agree doctor

User :   they put me on olmat and concor
Doctor :   Have you started taking any vitamin supplement or any herb because sometimes it may also be a reason for missed beat
User :   doc, if i am able to walk 5 kms, and climbing stairs etc without panting, generally can i take it i am doing fine when i am on tour or abroad
User :   no doc no vitamins generally following the diabetic diet for south indian veg strictly as prescribed by my hospital
Doctor :   Yeah if you dont feel sudden breathlessness, or sweating or fatigue its fine
Doctor :   but do not over exert yourself
Doctor :   And also avoid any stress or anxiety
Doctor :   anytime if you feel fatigued take proper rest
Doctor :   I appreciate that at this age you are doing really good exercises and also have your sugar controlled
User :   thank you doc, i am taking the second chance of life seriouslysometimes i do feel tightness across the chest incision where there is scar while walking
Doctor :   If you feel such tightness or something immediately take rest for some time
User :   again, my docs said not to worry as i did stress ecg full levels fine and this tightness i feel i do not know and it is not recurrent
Doctor :   As told by you your investigations are within normal limits so stop worrying.
Doctor :   Stress ECG also being normal so no need to worry
Doctor :   Get yourself examined regularly
Doctor :   as you have been doing
User :   ok doc, i thank you for your time, it has been nice and i will take care and i got to take care of the worrying and but will deal with this firmly thank you very much
