Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   how can i Help you?
User :   hi doctor
User :   I have have neck and back injuries resulting in two spinal fusions and herniations. Through the experience i developed an anxiety disorder aswell. I went in today to to my pain management Dr's for a routine nerve block. When they took my BP it was pretty high, high blood pressure does run in my family but im not over weight, drink or smoke. my BP was 180/103 and my pulse rate was around 80-90 throughout the procedure, after they gave me the usual sedative they give it went down to about normal. The doctor didnt seem to concerned but the assistants said i should monitor it. Due to my injuries i dont do much and today I basically stayed in bed watching TV. I checked my pulse every so often through the day and it continues to be around 90...I dont know if that means my BP could be back up and dont have a monitor to check. Should I be concerned? Or is it something i can chalk up to elevated stress and anxiety? other info if it helps 25/m 6'4 220lbs
