User :   Hi, I woke up last night in the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. It felt like I'd been stabbed or shot in the lower left ovary/pelvic region. I woke up, screaming in pain, and wasn't able to console myself. The pain has since dulled down, but affects me when I walk and even when I'm sitting (like a painful pressure). I can't decide if I should see a doctor?
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   Dr
User :   hello.
User :   i'm not sure if you already read the little message i typed about the pain that i've been having?
Doctor :   May i know your age ?
User :   22
Doctor :   ok, Are you married ?
User :   no
Doctor :   Ok, first i suggest you to get a abdominopelvic USG scan and yes you may he=ave to visit a gynecologist
Doctor :   have*
User :   what would that scan tell me?
Doctor :   t6he most common cause of such pain is mittelschmerz
Doctor :   the*
Doctor :   that is due to release of the ovum from the ovary
User :   oh. it's never happened before. is that normal?
Doctor :   yes, surely normal
Doctor :   and happens rarely this severe
Doctor :   hence rule it out by a scan
User :   oh. so, i don't need to rush to a doctor then? i can just make a regular appointment?
Doctor :   yes,
User :   ok. thanks.
Doctor :   but if the pain is more you can visit your GP for antispasmodics which will bring the pain down
Doctor :   Are you there
Doctor :   ?
