User :   Hi there, I'm a 40 year old female - I had sex on June 6th, had my Mirena IUD removed on June 7th, had a "period" feel bleeding from June 8th-June 15th, had sex on June 29 & June 30. Haven't seen a period, so took pregnancy test with negative results. Is my period out of whack and I just have to wait for it, or do you think I'm pregnant, which I AM trying to do. Please help me. Thanks
Doctor :   Hello.
Doctor :   Let me read your query.
User :   ok
Doctor :   After removing the IUD it takes time for the periods to get regular.
User :   so, the bleeding after the removal was NOT my period?
Doctor :   It could be.
Doctor :   But to get the periods regularly till will take some time.
Doctor :   'it
Doctor :   The urine pregnancy test gives the best result when performed after 10 days of missed period.
User :   ok, so it's just a waiting game?
User :   So, I should try the pg testing again at the end of the week?
Doctor :   Yes, after 10 days of missed period.
User :   well, if the bleeding after the removal is considered as my Period, which was on 6/8 - I should've had my period again on 7/8, I was a 30-day cycle, I should do the pg testing on 7/18?
Doctor :   That bleeding may not be periods.
User :   also, I'm urinating more frequently now too - and feeling some "pg" signs, but is the urinating frequently one of them?
Doctor :   Yes,
Doctor :   but not a definitive sign.
User :   ok, doc - thanks for you answers
User :   I do hope I AM Torticollis
Doctor :   Is there anything else ?
User :   I don't think so, just a waiting game for me for one result or another
Doctor :   I can help you with.
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Bye for now.
