User :   I've woken up with an uncomfortable pain behind my left breast. i'm not sure if its heart/chest pain or indigestion. the pain is like a mild gripping feeling an i feel it in my back a little and my shoulder. i do think if i could burp it may help.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   May I know your age and gender?
User :   female aged 43
Doctor :   Are you feeling breathless?
User :   no
Doctor :   Do you have nausea/vomiting?
Doctor :   Does the pain increase while breathing?
Doctor :   Do you have history of similar symptoms in the past?
Doctor :   Do you have history of diabetes/hypertension in the past?
User :   no. i feel well just worried. my uncle died of a heart attack at 43. I dont know what hypertension is
Doctor :   I mean do you hv
Doctor :   *have history of high blood pressure?
Doctor :   Does the pain increase when you breathe?
User :   no. I'm fit, I run 3 times a week maybe more 4/5 miles each time. I do drink too much tho and had a weekend with 2 parties. that makes me think it could be heart burn. theres no pain breathing
Doctor :   Let me brief you.
Doctor :   Ok
User :   yea
Doctor :   The chest pain that you describe is not typical of cardiac pain,
Doctor :   and yes, it could be a gastritis/heart burn.
Doctor :   However, in view of sudden onset, no past history of similar pains and your family back ground,
Doctor :   I suggest that you consider consulting your doctor for a physical examination.
Doctor :   Cardiac evaluation and EKG is the only means of ruling out a cardiac event.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   with these symtoms being mildish, do you think theres an urgency to be seen by a doctor now or should i wait til morning?
Doctor :   I don't advice you to wait, if your symptoms are worsening or if you develop breathing issues/sweating associated with the pain.
Doctor :   Watch out for these symptoms,
Doctor :   report to the ER immediately, if these symptoms appear.
Doctor :   A complete heart evaluation by a cardiologist, which may also include a tread-mill test are essential in the future(even if your symptoms disappear after some time).
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   no thanks. I'll see my G.P tomorrow
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me. Bye for now.
