Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How may i help you
User :   I have had very loose grey stools with mid to upper back pain for about 2 days. I have had the mid back pain which was severe at the onset, for about 8 days.
Doctor :   Ok, Do you see blood in stools ?
User :   no
Doctor :   Ok, Are the stools grey al time since two days?
User :   there is also alot of rumbleing in my abdomen and it seems to be a little distended. The stools have been grey and loose for 2 days all the time.
Doctor :   ok, Do you have any yellowish discoloration in the eyes or skin ?
User :   not as far as i can tell, although 2 days ago my face was a little greyish , my normal skin color returned yesterday
Doctor :   ok, May i know the color of the urine you pass ?
User :   clear. it's usually more yellow but i discontinued my normal vitamin program about 4 days ago, and have increased my water inbtake alo to try and see if i could relieve some of the abdominal and chest/back discomfort
Doctor :   ok, do you have itching in the skin anywhere body ?
User :   no
Doctor :   Need not worry , it could be due to indigestion and subsequent enteritis
Doctor :   it will limit on own , just avoid spicy and hard foods to fasten the recovery
Doctor :   Had you been on any drugs ( antibiotics ) in recent ?
User :   can that last this long? does that account for the chest and back burning/ discomfort? no drug use at all....i did do an over the counter colon clense/ body clense product before the sysptroms started
Doctor :   yes, the back pain could be due to the same
Doctor :   and it may not last more than 2 days from now
User :   sorry for the type o's i can't type
Doctor :   the lower back i consider could have been aggravated by the loose stools you have now
User :   It's really not lower bach, it's mid back between my shoulderblades and strait through to my chest around my sternum. I had a very bad bout of pancreatitis in collage with similar symptoms buy much worse pain...any chance this is that... my sgop and sgpt at the time were through the roof
Doctor :   Ok, yes, a recurrence cn be expected but i would ask you to wait for another 2 days with symptomatic relief like fiber rich food and then go for a LFT ( Liver function test ) and a Pancreatic amylase test
User :   ok... any specific fiber rich foods you recomend....oatmeal , fruit , veggies anything i should avoid..i feel really bloated
Doctor :   yes, have you heard of Husk ?
User :   no it a grain....i've heard of psilliam husk (sp?)
Doctor :   yes, you can have it
User :   I've heard of it , but what is it?
Doctor :   its a fiber food , taken mixed with milk
Doctor :   a better fiber food with practically no harm to the intestines
User :   Is there any change in symptoms i should be look for should things get worse ?
Doctor :   Can be taken in looses tools of any cause , as it do not mingle with disease process and not digested
Doctor :   yes, good question
Doctor :   if you have change in urine color , giddiness , vomiting with green colored vomitus , blood in stools .. Any of the above rush to the nearest doctor
User :   can i work out? i work out regularly and stopped because of th chest and back pain...i thought i was have a heart attack at first...i'm a little dizzy lately as well. What is giddiness?
Doctor :   it depends on your comfort, if you can work out , then yes you can no restrictions
Doctor :   giddiness is dizziness , that happens due to low glucose in blood in case of pancreatitis
