User :   I have metal plates in my face due to an accident that broke every bone in my face, I have lived with headaches now for 16 years but just recently their getting to the point where I cant stand them. Could the metal plates be causing this?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hi
Doctor :   Dr Mazumdar..
Doctor :   Let me read your query
User :   Alright
Doctor :   Where is the metal plate located, which part of the face?

User :   I have several, 2 on the bridge of my nose, 4 just under the hairline on the right side of my face, 1 just over my right eye, 1 under the right eye, 1 under the left eye and 1 just to the side of my left eye.
Doctor :   Then your headache could be due to the metal plates inserted.
Doctor :   Get a repeat examination and also an X ray done by the doctor who treated you previously.
User :   The doctor who preformed the surgery has retired. This was done 16 years ago.
Doctor :   You can consult any other one because it needs a proper examination and investigation.

User :   Alright. I will do that.
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with?
User :   One more thing, Could there be any reason that the metal plates would have to be removed? I had a friend that told me a metal plate could cause problems to where they would have to be removed.
Doctor :   The decision for removing the metal plate has to be taken after examination only. If it is compressing some important structures it has to be removed.
User :   I see. I had just never heard of 'metal plate removal' thats why I asked. Thank you very much for your time.
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me, bye for now.
User :   Bye
