User :   My mom suffers from acute gastric ailments

User :   she is 60
User :   and she is suffering from this from long
User :   would say 20 yrs

User :   yeah she has gone medications, but couldnt continue for long due to negligence
Doctor :   does she have reduced appetite ?
User :   usually she takes Digene tabs
Doctor :   consipation ?
User :   no reduced appetite, but she cant lot variety of ood
User :   yes she has constipation
Doctor :   any other medical illness like high BP & diabetes ?
User :   no she doesntnt have BP/Diabetes
User :   it all started due to late food habits
Doctor :   ok, since she is aged, she needs a few dietary changes as well as a few supportive meds.
User :   and still doesn fasting and all

User :   she burps all the time
Doctor :   try antacids syrup like - Digene or Mucaine gel MPS or gelusil 2-3 tsp after food,

User :   but since 2 days it has increased

Doctor :   also ask her to take Omeprazole 20 mg twice daily

Doctor :   Or Rantac 150 mg twice daily (Omex is better ) and yes 30 min before food

Doctor :   a bit of rest as well as regular physical activity (daily walks) , good nourishing food, calcium and vit D supplements are needed

Doctor :   thats ok, and it is due to indigestion, and reduced GI motility thats is becoause of age, and you not worry, as proper dietary habits will take care of that

Doctor :   calcium sandox 2 tabs daily will be good

User :   and now gas increases not because of delayed food, but due to any oily/outside food

Doctor :   yes, oily and spicy foods can cause gastritis
User :   if she eats few vegetables also, it increases
User :   she cant eat rice also, as that also
