User :   Hello doctor
Doctor :   hi
User :   I have a question....
Doctor :   please proceed with your query
User :   I had protected sex with a girl that had genital warts. She was treated for them and used some kind of cream for it.
Doctor :   OK
User :   On night when we were having intercourse the tip of the condom broke. As soon as I noticed I pulled out and DID NOT continue.
User :   Now a few months later I've noticed one wart like thing on the tip of my penis.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   genital warts are due to a viral infection called EBV
Doctor :   & are easily treated with modern meds
User :   So does it sound like it could be genital warts?
Doctor :   yes , any warts in the genital area is a genital wart
User :   since it is only one that is there. I've scratched at it and made it bleed. Put medicine on it to see if it would heal. But it seems to come back.
User :   could you define wart?
Doctor :   it is a cauliflower like protrusion in any region attached to the skin
User :   because it is not oozing, itching, pusie, or anything of the sort.
Doctor :   these warts do not have any other symptoms
Doctor :   they just keep growing at the point of origin
User :   So it could be small or it could be big. Because it's probably the size of a pencil tip.
Doctor :   yes, over the period of time, they grow to varying size
User :   How would I go about treating this?
User :   Or would I have to consult a doctor about treating it?
Doctor :   you will need prescription meds for such warts
Doctor :   yes , consult your physician, who will give you the prescription
Doctor :   after a physical examination
User :   But they are treatable....correct?
Doctor :   yes
User :   Okay that was the only worry that I had about it, that it wouldn't be treatable and well yea.
Doctor :   i understand
User :   But for what I'm telling you it defiantly sounds like genital warts?
Doctor :   yes , definitely
User :   Alright doctor. Thanks a bunch for helping me.
Doctor :   But you should get yourself checked by blood tests - VDRL (for syphilis) , just in case as well
User :   I will do so, as soon as possible.
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   Not that I can think of no
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me
User :   You helped me for the night
User :   thank you
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   bye for now
