I need to get the consultation online regarding to my father health.

User :   My father is 60 years now
User :   Having Diabetes and HTN from past 13 years.
User :   Has undergone PTCA to RCA 2years back.

User :   He is suffering from sever cough from past 1 year and till now it is not recovered.

User :   He is taking deriphylline tablet often. But this is also seems to be useless now.

User :   Regarding Medication he is taking: User :   Diabets: OHA + Insulin (Human Mixtard IU 40, 25U in morning 15 units in night times) along with Metformin 850, Glimperide 2mg, Rosiglitazone 2mg 2 times daily.
User :   For HTN - Hydrochlorothiazide 1 time in morning

User :   around 5-10 days back and FBS it was around 216

Doctor :   sugras have to be under good control, it reduces chences of infection

User :   His BP varies as once it is around 150/90 and sometimes around 100/60
Doctor :   1) get his sugars under control with medication dose adjustments and regular follow up along with a strict diabetic diet and exercise\.
Doctor :   2) similarly for BP control, maintain a BP reading diary recording Bp daily morning and evening
Doctor :   look for fkuctuations

Doctor :   3) Diet control with low carbohydrate, low fat, low salt and low oil has to be maintained

Doctor :   4) get hin to a chest specialist pr a pulmonologist, get the PFT test and chest x-rays done to look for causes for cough
