Lumps in the breast, chances of tumour - Online Doctor Chats

User :   I had a mammogram 2 months ago and it appeared ok. I had a dsore on my nipple that looks like a pimple that was peeling also had a lump. They did a ultrasound and said there was just 2 lipomas. I had some bruising on the same breast that was unexplained. A couple weeks later I saw a breast specialist and at that time I had a huge hematoma. Another ultrasound was done and it appeared ok and they decided to have me come back in 3 months hoping hematoma resorbed. The decision was a MRI would be misleading with a hematoma. I have a history of breast cancer on both sides of my family. My mother and grandmother died of breast cancer at youg ages. my mom wa 53. I have an aunt on the other side who is a survivor of breast cancer -she was in her 40s. I now have several small hard lumps around the areola. I also have another hematoma on the opposite side of the breast. I also have notice there has been a change in the nipple discharge if press on it. It had been green but now it is more pus like. I also had 3 pimples near the areola. of course I couldn't stay away so I tried to pop the pimples but they did not pop. Later they got red and and were more of a sore. I was concerned that since I have had staph infections in the past in other body areas I should protect the sores. I put on topical antibiotic and then covered with band-aids. Big mistake because the area of the bandaid got red and now the tissue is red there and dry. The sores scabbed but due to irritation from bra and showering came off. The inside of one of the sores and raised red area that looks very strange. I don't know if these sores are anything related to cancer. I was concerned about Paget's disease but unsure symptoms are there. I am not due to see my dr again for 2 months. do you think I have any reason to be concerned.

User :   I have not had any symptoms of fever or anything like that and the breast is not at all warm to the touch. Should I be seeing my dr again or do you think it will just clear up eventually. There is no pain.
