Doctor :   hi

Doctor :   let me read what you have typed.
Doctor :   could you describe the 'lumps' in detail?
User :   they are only about 2 mm in diameter
User :   hard
User :   they stick up and so are not just bumps
User :   they run along the centre of my tongue towards the back
Doctor :   the tongue usually has papillae and they are bigger at the back of the tongue
User :   when i run my finger over them they are hard and are very noticably standing off my tongue
Doctor :   the description that you are giving suggests possibility of the papillae being there
Doctor :   is it possible for you to send me a picture of them
Doctor :   for me to better understand what you are describing?
Doctor :   if yes, pls send it to YYYY@YYYY
User :   im at work and its really not possible right now unfortunately
User :   im just concerned they might be warts or something
User :   is it possible to get warts on your tongue
Doctor :   ok. have they appeared after any oral sexual contact with your partner (who might be having the HPV or warts)?
User :   i have never noticed them before
User :   i had oral sex with an old partner about a month ago
Doctor :   ok, is he having any STD?
Doctor :   has he been tested for STD?
User :   no
User :   i can send you that picture now
Doctor :   ok. i will wait for it
Doctor :   tell me when you have sent it
User :   i have send it
Doctor :   ok. let me check. just give me a moment.
User :   you can see them to the left of the picture
Doctor :   yes I have seen it
Doctor :   it does suggest some infcetion
Doctor :   you should consider to get it examined by an Oro-dental surgeon.
User :   would be regular doctor be any good?
Doctor :   and get a swab test done from the region to look for infection.
User :   i have an appointment made for tomorow morning
Doctor :   yes, you can go ahead with your regular doctor
User :   i just needed to get advice now
Doctor :   if needed he will refer you to a Oro-dental surgeon
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   do you think the area at the back of my tongue is invfection because of the colour?
Doctor :   no, not the colour, but the 'lumps' kind of thing
User :   i looked online and they said warts could be in clusters, these are not.
Doctor :   the hwite color could also suggest possibility of thrush
Doctor :   but it would usually affect the entire tongue
Doctor :   when teh warts start, in teh initial stages, it could be single and isolated, not in groups
Doctor :   or clusters.
