User :   Yes, i have a lump on collar bone above the breast , but below the neck and I am wondering what it is? It has been there for at least 2years could it be cancer?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hello
Doctor :   how did the lump start and what is the rate of its progression
User :   The lump i believe is the same size as it was two years ago.
Doctor :   no it is very unlikely to be a cancer for it to be same for two years
User :   i was laid off my job, and i do not have health insurance. once i get an insurance i will check it out. What could it be?
User :   There is no pain at all. Sometimes i wake up with cramps in my neck from the way i sleep
Doctor :   what is the size of the lump and is it freely mobile ?
Doctor :   freely mobile means can you hold the lump and move it side ways up and down
User :   It is not mobile and it is the width of a quarter. It seems it may be on top of a bone
Doctor :   is it hard to feel like stone ?
User :   It seems to be hard underneath the skin like a stone
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   is it attached to the collar bone or is it seperate from it
User :   attached to the collarbone
Doctor :   ok
User :   it does not move
Doctor :   it seems to be a bony growth and it is not a cancer
Doctor :   you need not worry about it
User :   I pray and hope that is the case. I appreciated your time and information.
User :   Should something like this be removed
Doctor :   get it physically examined by your GP. as it is benign you have time to get it removed
Doctor :   yes the treaatment is removal
