User :   i have been having back pain for over a year now, my back gets very tight with pressure and has a dull aching pain in my lower back. I can't stand, sit, walk or bend for long periods. In the night i get this weird feeling in both my legs like slight tingling that will only stop once i start moving my legs. And about two months ago three fingers in my right hand have gone numb. During in epidural the anesthegiologist asked me if i had scoliosis because my spine looked kinda of off and when he gave me the epidural it only numbed one side of my lower half and not both? Is there something wrong with my back?

Doctor :   so you shall be relieved in that posture
User :   yea but
User :   i have to sleep like that otherwise i really can't sleep, it feels like it takes pressure off when i do that
Doctor :   Yes I understand

Doctor :   as the muscles go into spasm otherwise
User :   would a herniated disc look like scoliosis if you were just looking at a back
Doctor :   Herniated disc can cause such symptoms

Doctor :   but you mention about numbness in the right hand fingers as well
User :   my lower back is slightly uneven
User :   yes
Doctor :   and even scoliosis can produce such symptoms
Doctor :   if it was only lower back, then it would have favored
User :   really
Doctor :   herniated disc more
